Interesting and informative article, but as an example of a PRV Thema they chose the worst possible picture: that of a 8.32 (which had a cross-plane crankshaft Ferrari V8 engine).

Similar mistake with the 504: the versions that had the V6 fitted were the coupé and cabriolet, not the saloon.

And since when you call an A310... 310A?

Hah! So my ‘88 505 has a better PRV than my buddies ‘81 Delorean! Little victories

I noticed that they had used a V8 Thelma. I did not catch the other 2 errors.

I find the article so interesting that it is a real pity that the rest of the feature was not well edited.

I imagine Mr Deferrari (DeFerrari?) wrote the text and someone else researched the pictures and did the captions.

Having said that... Renault, for obvious reasons, used the V6 in a lot more cars than just the A310. Off the top of my head, the 30, the 25, the Safrane, Laguna, the Clio V6...

PS - I ‘ve just seen that the comments mention those mistakes. And there is a most interesting bit by a certain “Ben”.

Clio V6 -> nope

That was no PRV, it was a 60 degree V6. It was developped by PSA and Renault too though

Many thanks indeed for your correction. I should have realised it was the new V6, not the old one.

It is never too late to learn!
